ADB (Apple Desktop Bus) Device Definitions

• ADB Device# = Order number of the ADB device as it appears in the ADB 
              device table
   ◊ Current Address = Address (up to 15) assigned to the device at startup.
              This indicates the device’s address on the built-in local area network 
              which performs the hardware functionality of the ADB
   ◊ Original Address = The original address assigned by the manufacturer. This
              address indicates the device’s type
      + Device Type =  The type name of the device if known
   ◊ Device ID = The device handler ID number which specifies the device
      + Device = The name of the device if known
